Cydcor’s Guide to Corporate Philanthropy
Philanthropic efforts for a company can come in many forms. Like the Cydcor community, an organization can start with a volunteer program where company members can do paid volunteer work for a particular chosen cause. A business can also sponsor a charity and contribute their money and/or manpower. Or, a company can set a day for management so as to spend time working together for a cause.
Take Cydcor Cares Volunteer Day for instance. This company program was developed to encourage the Cydcor community members to give back to those that support them. Apart from that, the sales firm also provides funds and their time to selected charity groups.
With that, a corporate philanthropy initiative like the Cydcor community has can profit a business by:
Boosting loyalty and satisfaction from workers
Advancing company name
Strengthening community relationships
Attracting and maintaining potential and current employees
Becoming aware of involvement in the community and increasing a business with a growing number of responsible workers often result to a win-win situation. While donating to causes is arguably a laudable effort, the best way to contribute to the community that supports a company like what the Cydcor community does is to invest money and time. More often than not, a robust community produces a successful business environment. Basically, the community is the basis of a company, which is why a business mustn’t forget to look after it.
