Alex Crisses Devoted to Serving Different NYC Charitable Institutions that Make a Difference in Different Neighborhoods
Alex Crisses understands the value in giving back to the communities of New York City. The opportunity that these diverse institutions present to others is significant. To this end, Alex Crisses gives his time to helping charitable institutions such as “Minds Matter.” This foundation, based in New York City, concentrates their efforts on assisting disadvantaged high school students.
When not devoting his energies to his professional responsibilities in the corporate world, Alex Crisses IVP works to promote the aims of a unique institution. This is the not-for-profit Minds Matter foundation. This entity’s mission is to transform the lives of accomplished high school students from low-income families. Their focal point is helping these students prepare for college success and helping them achieve their ambitions.
In his charity work, Alex Crisses applies this same approach. He understands that not-for-profit entities such as Minds Matter require two kinds of resources to remain viable. The first is the financial resources to implement programs to help others. The second is time commitments from people to help them attain these financial resources.
Alex Crisses knows the need charitable institutions have for funds and volunteers to help them accomplish their objectives. That’s the case with Minds Matter as they have involved programs such as their Sophomore Program and its curriculum that develops students’ skills in key academic and leadership areas. Students in their Junior Program continue to work with their mentors to refine their writing, oral presentation, and interviewing skills. The Senior Program guides students through the college application process. This includes school selection, interviews, and financial aid. This strong commitment to helping disadvantaged students drives Alex Crisses efforts to aid this institution.
Alex Crisses Insight Venture Partners continues to devote time and energy to his career responsibilities and to his different charitable foundation responsibilities. He believes this fulfills a two-fold purpose. He works to help companies achieve their business goals in an always-challenging economic environment; he works to help charities in efficiently meeting the needs of those who require their services.
